SQL Server 2005:

NOTE: This article does not apply to sites running NLES v4.5.0. The NotifyLink installer has been updated to handle SQL Server 2005 running on either the Local machine or a Remote machine.

Problem:
I have installed the full version of SQL 2005 on the server and it is running. However, during the install of the SQL component of GO!NotifyLink I keep getting an error that SQL 7 or later must be installed.

Solution:
When you are running the install make sure on the screen for the SQL server location, that you choose Remote and manually enter the name of the SQL server that you are installing to.
