SQL Server 2000:

When installing the SQL component for NotifyLink, at the beginning of the installation you may see an error similar to the following:

SQL Server requires SQL Authentication. Please enable this in SQL Enterprise Manager and try again.

To enable this:

- Open up the SQL Enterprise Manager

- Tree down to the SQL server (the name is usually (local))

- Right click on the SQL server and select Properties

- Click on the Security tab

- Under Authentication select "SQL Server and Windows" and click OK
