Emailing the Log file from a Windows Mobile 5 device

Windows Mobile 5:

You may at some point need to email the logging file from a Windows Mobile 5 device to Technical Support for escalated troubleshooting.  Go into File Explorer on the device and locate the Notify log under My Device.  Highlight the file and select Menu -> Send via E-Mail.  If you get prompted to select an account, choose Outlook E-mail.  Technical Support's email address is technical@globoplc.com and enter the subject of your choice.

If you are unable to send this file following these steps, you may have to transfer the file to the memory card.  In File Explorer, select Menu -> Edit -> Cut.  This will place the log file on the clipboard.  Then change from My Device to Storage Card.  Now select Menu -> Edit -> Paste and the log will be saved to the memory card.  You should now be able to follow the above steps and successfully email the file to support.
