On some NLES systems, the Attachment Service processing for BlackBerry attachments may result in one or both of the following: (1) An error popup stating "Application Error for eword.exe or ecell.exe" (2) Multiple instances of WINWORD.exe and/or EXCEL.exe processes in Task Manager that do not have a corresponding eword.exe and/or ecell.exe respectively.
To workaround this issue, follow the steps in the ReadMe.txt file attached to this document. This will use PsKill to kill any outstanding WINWORD.exe (Microsoft Word) and EXCEL.exe (Microsoft Excel) processes. The Dynoplex conversion applications (ecell.exe and eword.exe) are not killed. The conversion will result in failure when the Word and Excel instances are killed, and then be tried again later.

Login using the same windows account that was used during install. 1. Download PSKill from the following website: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896649.aspx a. Install the .exe to C:\Windows\System32 2. Create a notepad file named "AttachCleanup.bat" (without quotes) and place in it the following 2 lines: pskill excel pskill winword 3. Create a Scheduled Task on your PC to run this file by completing the following: a. Open Scheduled Tasks (Settings > Control Panel > Scheduled Tasks) b. Select "Add a Scheduled Tasks", then "Next" c. Click "browse" to the file that you saved above d. Call the job "Attachment Cleanup" e. Select Daily f. Start time of 12:00 AM, every day, select "Next" g. Enter the password for the Windows account, select "Next" h. Checkmark the box to open advanced properties, select "Finish" i. select the "Schedule" tab, select "Advanced" j.
