Administrator password change on the Notifylink server, Notifylink not working now

NotifyLink Enterprise Server:

When changing the Administrator password on the Notifylink server, the new password will have to also be changed for the Notifylink Web component and a couple of the Notifylink services.


* If running a single server set up with all the Notifylink componets on the same server or a multiple server set up with the Web and Messaging components on the same server:

- Log into the Notifylink Admin console and go into Server Administration

- Retype the new password under Windows NT Authentication Credentials and Apply Changes

- Go into Administative Tools/ Services

- Locate the NLES AttachmentHandler and NLES PIM Services

- Right click on each one and go into Properties

- Click the Log On Tab and set the new password here


* If running a multiple server server set up and the password on the server with the Web component was changed:

- Only the password inside the Notifylink Admin console needs changed

- Follow the instructions above for changing the password inside the Notifylink Admin console.


* If running a multiple server server set up and the password on the server with the Messaging component was changed:

- Only the passwords under Administrative Tools/ Services for the NLES AttachmentHandler and NLES PIM Services need changed.

- Follow the instructions above for changing the passwords of the two services.


** Note: If running Notifylink version 3.x or lower, only the NLES PIM Service will need the password changed.
