License Validation Failure

GO!NotifyLink Enterprise Server:

Issue:  I see validation failures in the validate lease log file

 

Solution:  Ensure that your GO!NotifyLink server (or web box if in a multi-server environment) can reach www.notify.net.  This link should redirect you to www.notifycorp.com if pasted into a web browser.  You can also test this connection by issuing a telnet command from the command prompt.  To do this, use the following command:

 

telnet www.notify.net 80

 

If this connection is successful, you should see a blank command window and a blinking cursor.  If this test fails, check your firewall or proxy settings (if running a proxy server)
