Logs for each service can be in either plaintext or HTML

NotifyLink Enterprise Server:

Information: As of NLES 4.6 you can change the log name for each service. If you use .html as the extension for the filename, that service will log in HTML. If it is any other extension (i.e. .log or .txt), the service will log in plaintext. This applies to all NLES services. NOTE: This comparison is case-insenstive, so .HtML would also result in HTML logging.

To change this you will simply re-name the log file within the Registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Notify Technology Corporation.  Then select the service that you wish to change the log extension for and select LogName. Right click and select Modify and adjust the name appropriately.

For Example: If wanting to change the PIM log from .html to .log to begin logging in plain text you would navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Notify Technology Corporation\NLES PimService

Right Click LogName and choose Modify

Change NLPimService.html to NLPimService.log and select OK

Restart the NLES PIM Service in Windows Services and a new log with the .log extension will begin generating.
