PIM login failure and error 401 in log

MDaemon:

Problem: 
The user is getting an error code 551 in stats for pim and the following error appears in the pim log:


LogonMBox:Get command failed with SyncML Status 401


The user name and passwords are correct and the user can log into the world client successfully.


Solution:
Get the following Mdaemon syncml log from the Mdaemon server:


Syncml file from Mdaemon, located at C:\MDaemon\Logs. There is more information in there.


If the log shows the following for the user:

WARNING, [BWDWPEBLYBWQYB] Login failed - SyncML is not enabled for: user@domain.com


Then the customer will need to enable MDaemon's SyncML server by doing the following:

- From the "Setup" menu, select "WorldClient"
- Select the SyncML tab
- Check the "Enable SyncML server" check box
