Upgrade to NotifyLink 4.5 and PIM stopped working

Problem:  Upgraded your NotifyLink server from 4.0.1 to 4.5 and PIM is no longer processing for any users.

Solution:  If you were running with NotifyLink as a Trusted Application this is a known issue.  After upgrading to 4.5, if you are running NotifyLink as a trusted application you must enable Multi-PIM for PIM to begin processing.  To enable Multi-PIM you will go into the registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Notify Technology Corporation -> NLES PIMService.  Here you will change the MaxThreads value to any value between 1 and 4.  The value will determine how many PIM threads are run at one time.  Setting this to 4 will process 4 users for PIM at once.  You will also need to go into the database and adjust the logging size.  To do this you will open Enterprise Manager or Management Studio and run the following query:

UPDATE    GeneralConfig
SET           DebugFileSize = 150

This will increase the size of the logs because Multi-PIM will now display an individual PIM log for each user.
