Email and PIM data are left on iPhone after user is removed from NLES

If an iPhone/iPod touch user is removed from the NotifyLink Enterprise Server (NLES), the device retains the Email and PIM (calendar and contacts) data. The data can be cleared from the device, however, by removing the account from the device. On the device, tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar > (account) > Delete Account. The account and the associated PIM and email are removed. Another option is to perform a Remote Wipe on the device before removing the user from NLES. A Remote Wipe will remove messages, contacts, calendar events and the mailbox account from the device and put the device in a pre-registration state. | |
