Contacts deleting after load

If you have a user that says his contacts load and then delete right away, check the PIM log.  If you see the following information for the user in the log after an initial sync or OTA load for contacts have been done then please follow the below instructions to resolve the issue.

** Contact Name is the names of the contacts in the users address book.

1.  Go to the admin console under User Administration -> User IT Policies -> Server Policies -> Contact Sync Settings -> Then un-check "Synchronize contacts with the device".  Then click on Apply Changes to save the change. 

2.  After that is done, have the user do another OTA load or initial sync on contacts from their device.

3.  After the load completes, allow the account to process thru a couple of PIM cycles. 

4.  Then go back to the admin console and check Sync Contacts with Device once again.  This should fix the issue with it deleting the contacts after they are loaded.
