Oracle Beehive user can't delete messages from iPhone/Trash folder is missing
Posted by - NA - on 29 June 2009 04:23 PM

Oracle:

Behavior:
This issue may be noticed in one of two ways:
1) The NotifyLink user's Folder list does not display the Trash folder on the Folders page of the NotifyLink Administrative or Client Web console.
2) An iPhone/iPod device user cannot delete messages on the device.

Cause:
A new user created on an Oracle Beehive server does not have a "Trash" folder (or "Deleted Items" folder) created automatically.

Solution:
To resolve this issue, the user needs to log in to their Beehive account using a desktop client application.  A Trash folder is created by the client application.

For Beehive 2.0 accounts, note that the Outlook Connector did not automatically create the Trash folder. Thunderbird did, however, create the folder.
