Devices stop syncing with the GroupWise Data Synchronizer after applying Windows Updates to the NotifyMDM server

After applying Windows Updates to my NotifyMDM server, all devices have stopped syncing mail, contacts, calendar events, and tasks with the Novell GroupWise Data Synchronizer.  The IIS log is showing 000 errors.

Microsoft Update 2661254 ( is an update for minimum certificate key length.  The description of this update states, “This advisory announces that the use of RSA certificates that have keys that are less than 1024 bits long will be blocked.” 

Updating your Novell GroupWise Data Synchronizer server with a certificate that is 1024 bits or larger in length will resolve this issue.
