Issues when sending email from your device to distribution lists in GroupWise

The problem occurs when an email is sent to a GroupWise distribution list from the device.
From your device, you send an email to a distribution list.
This includes composing a new email, forwarding an email, or perform a reply all.
Users on the distribution list that is listed in the To, CC, or BCC fields will not receive the message.


A setting in ConsoleOne can be adjusted to correct this.

  1. Navigate to the GWIA within ConsoleOne
  2. Right click and go to Properties
  3. Scroll through the tabs to reach SMTP/MIME
  4. Switch the arrow to Address Handling
  5. From here, you can enable "Expand distribution lists on incoming messages."

Once this setting is adjusted, the problem will no longer occur.
