Cannot reply to messages sent by device from a version 2.1.x Beehive server

Recipients of email messages sent from a device cannot reply to them from the Oracle Beehive server, version 2.1.x. The user can compose the reply message, however, the reply never sends and does not appear in the Sent Items folder.
