TouchDown App Version 7.1.0005 prevents screen capture from being stored accidentally

Some Samsung devices have a screen capture feature that appears on the device's toolbar.

On Samsung devices with TouchWiz, if this screen capture function is invoked, the device takes a snapshot of whatever is on the screen and places it on the clipboard and in a Screenshots folder on the SD card as a .jpeg image.

Should a user accidentally brush this button, unbeknownst to him, the contents of the screen is captured and stored, and could pose a security threat.

TouchDown version 7.1.0005 or greater can detect when the screen capture has been taken and delete the image from the gallery.
One of the following security rules must be enabled for this TouchDown feature to function:

  • Require Password
  • Require Device Encryption
  • Require Storage Card Encryption
