Problem: After an upgrade from GroupWise 6.5.x to 7.0.x, nlpim.exe is spiking the CPU higher than before.

Solution:  Because of the changes in the limitations of the GroupWise API in 7.0, NotifyLink may now be trying to process many more items than ever before.  GroupWise version 6.5 had smaller limitations on PIM items.

Decreasing the Sync Range for Calendar and Tasks should help alleviate some of the strain.  To do this you would go into the administrative web console under User Administration -> Select the user -> User IT Policies -> Server Policies -> Calendar Format/Task Format.

Decreasing the calendar range from 52 weeks back and ahead to 26 weeks back and ahead can help greatly, especially for heavy calendar users.
