 BlackBerry devices once connected to BES need default BES IT policy restored

Devices that have interfaced with a BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) prior to being used with a NotifyLink Enterprise Server or with NotifySync, need to be returned to the default (or blank) BES IT Policy set before they can be used with Notify Technology software products.

Before installing NotifyLink Device Client or NotifySync on the device:

1) From the BES, send the default (or blank) IT policy to the device.

2) Make sure the device is no longer connected to the BES.

3) Make sure the network carrier's BIS service books are present on the device.  From the device Home screen, select Options > Advanced Options > Service Book.
