BlackBerry device client localizations: Installation and changing the device language
Article

NotifySync Device Client:

There is no configuration needed within the NotifyLink or NotifySync applications to switch the language of the application. When changing the language in the device settings ( Options -> Language ), the NotifyLink or NotifySync application application will automatically begin to use the translations for the language selected as long as the selected language is one that is supported by the application.

When changing the language on the device after NotifyLink or NotifySync is installed, some items may not be translated to the new language immediately and some may not be translated at all. Rebooting the device will allow translation of approximately 95% of the application strings.

For the most complete translation, users should set the desired language on the device before they install NotifyLink or NotifySync. During installation, these applications perform certain initialization processes that are not performed at any other time. As a result, items that are part of these processes are rendered in the language the device is set to use at the time of installation. If you are already using one of the applications, the best practice is to uninstall the application, set the desired language, then reinstall the application.
